Destiny 2 The Witch Queen Guide

Gameplay

What You Are Jumping Into

The Witch Queen adds many new aspects to the Destiny 2 gameplay loop. Such as a brand new planet to explore, weapon crafting, Void 3.0, the new weapon architype glaives, and Hive Guardians. These are the major gameplay additions but there are many more things that have been added that I did not list. I am going to cover a few but you will encounter all of these when you play the game for yourself.

Savathûn's Throne World

In the new expansion Destiny adds a brand new destination Savathûn's Throne World. Savathûn's Throne World is a pocket dimension that reflects her mind. In gameplay on one side is a deep jungle and swamp and on the other a extravagant castle. While exploring this place you will find many parts of the world to reflect her. I will leave most of those details for you to discover. Savathûn's Throne World

Savathûn's Throne World is where you will spend most of the campign.

Weapon Crafting

Weapon crafting is brand new and adds a lot to the way weapons work. You will first craft the new weapon type the glaive in the first part of the campign. From there you will be able to craft more weapons down the line. Down below is a video of me showing how to weapon craft and everything to it.

Void 3.0

Void 3.0 is the brand new way that Bungie is changing how light subclasses work. Void 3.0 adds a bit more freedom on how you can build your subclass. Such as debuff to your enemies and to yourself the different debuffs are weaken, volatile, and suppression. You also have aspects that help you build around those debuffs. Soon down the road the other two subclasses solar and arc will reseve the same 3.0 treatment. Void 3.0

This is how the menu will look when you open your void subclass.
